Flow Mapping and Distance Classification

Created an ArcGIS Pro flow map showing nonstop flight connections from London Heathrow to destinations around the world. Grouped routes into four distance classes and used contrasting colors against a subdued basemap to distinguish shorter and longer connections while emphasizing Heathrow as their shared origin.

Terrain Visualization and Elevation Profiles

Designed a trail run pamphlet presenting 5K and 10K routes in the San Bruno Mountains. Combined contrasting route colors, water station locations, contour lines, and elevation profiles for both courses to help runners compare route distances and changes in elevation.

Final Project: Interactive Geovisualization

Created an interactive Tableau dashboard exploring relationships among lack of health insurance, routine checkups, and fair or poor self-rated health across U.S. counties. Combined a choropleth map, two scatterplots, and interactive filters to support comparisons among counties. This final project brings together thematic mapping, coordinated views, and interactive exploration techniques developed throughout the course.
